Welcome to the Brewery Artist Collective (BAC)

The Brewery Artist Collective (BAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering, supporting, and advocating for the artists of the Brewery Arts Complex, one of the world's largest live/work artist communities. We aim to cultivate a thriving creative ecosystem that empowers artists, strengthens professional development, and engages the broader community through art.

What We Do

• Supporting Brewery Artists – We provide resources, professional development, and advocacy to ensure resident artists have the tools they need to succeed.

• Brewery Artwalk – Twice a year, we organize the Brewery Artwalk. This open-studio event invites the public to explore, connect, and collect art directly from the artists in their studios.

• Gallery & Exhibition Support—We champion exhibition spaces within the Brewery, including the I-5 Gallery and Badlands, as well as the rotating art installations at Barbara’s at the Brewery.

• Educational & Professional Growth Events – We host workshops, artist talks, and training sessions on the Brewery grounds, in our galleries, and at Barbara’s to help artists expand their skills and navigate the business of art.

• Community Outreach – We extend our creative impact beyond the Brewery, engaging with Lincoln Heights through art education, mentorship programs, and community events at the Brewery and gallery spaces.

• Communications & Engagement – We keep our community connected through newsletters, emails, and outreach efforts that share essential updates, opportunities, and artist features—internally for Brewery artists and externally to the greater creative community.
